Mission of the Supply Chain Committee
The ECR Supply Chain Committee drives the agenda in Europe for Supply Chain Initiatives between Manufacturers and Retailers by identifying and prioritizing projects above market level in the Supply Chain to create value for the Consumer and Shopper.
Roles of the Supply Chain Committee
- Define the supply chain agenda for ECR Europe and launch the appropriate projects – project brief, call for nominations
- Make a systematic follow-up of project progress to assure concrete tangible results in a reasonable time frame – supervision, regular reporting by project co-chairs
- Serve as a hub for the co-ordination of supply chain activities at the national and global level to leverage synergies and avoid duplication – knowledge of existing projects
- Report back to Operating Board and Board of Directors when requested
